THE ORIGIN
PGPR started as an experiment.
The shooting community in Puerto Rico grows by the week. The fitness community has been growing for decades. But no one had ever brought them together - not in the Caribbean, not at scale, not in a way that respected both disciplines.
The blueprint exists on the mainland. Events like The Tactical Games and Patriot Games have built a sport around the combination of fitness and live-fire shooting. The problem is geography. Puerto Rico's firearms laws are among the strictest in the United States, and the island's shooting ranges weren't built to host events of that scale.
So we built something different.
PGPR is a Tactical Fitness competition where fitness leads and shooting tests precision under fatigue. The marksmanship element is real - but it's calibrated for what's possible in Puerto Rico, not what works on the mainland. The result is an event that no one else has built, because no one else could.
On March 7, 2026, 96 athletes proved it could be done.
Now we do it again - bigger, sharper, and more
unmistakably Puerto Rican.

Anyone can do fitness. Anyone can go shooting. Combining the two into something that feels worth the trip - that's the work. Every detail of PGPR is designed around how the day feels, not just how it's scored.
SAFETY
ABOVE ALL
Every live-fire stage is supervised by certified Range Officers. Athlete flow, spectator zones, and firing lines are physically separated. No score and no time is worth more than going home safe.
BUILT FOR
PUERTO RICO
PGPR isn't a mainland event with a Puerto Rican zip code. It's designed within the island's legal framework, hosted on the island's land, and built around the island's culture. The first of its kind in the Caribbean - and the only one running at this level.

CALENDAR
Navidad Táctica is the flagship event every December. Mini-events throughout the year give athletes a real path to prepare - and give the community something to show up for more than once a year.
THE VENUE
RL Shooting Club · Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico
RL Shooting Club is one of the few facilities in Puerto Rico large enough to host an event like PGPR.
172 acres of controlled terrain. A 90-meter-by-29-meter competition field. Over 1,000 meters of integrated running and ruck trails. Dedicated shooting zones operated under certified Range Officer supervision.
The site allows us to do what no other venue on the island can: design stages that combine running, carries, and functional work alongside safe, separated live-fire areas - all within a single secured perimeter.
It's not just a venue. It's part of what makes the event possible.
THE STATEMENT
Anyone can run a fitness competition.
Anyone can host a shooting match.
Combining the two - at scale, on this island, within these laws, with this level of detail - is not something anyone can pull off.
